富岡櫂 | Kai Tomioka

Kai’s class draws on contemporary dance, floor work, improvisation, and movement principles that are central to his creative practice. Together, we will explore the role of spirals within the body and how they can unlock greater connectivity, efficiency, and range of movement.

Working both on the floor and standing, participants will be encouraged to discover new pathways, patterns, and possibilities within their own movement. Curiosity, choice, and personal exploration are at the heart of the class, creating space for each dancer to develop a deeper awareness of their body and individual way of moving.

The class is open to dancers and movers interested in expanding their movement vocabulary in a supportive and exploratory environment.

山口恵奈 | Ena Yamaguchi

Ena’s class combines elements of improvisation, contemporary dance, floor work, and modern movement techniques. Through guided exploration, participants will investigate the flow of movement within and beyond the body, while developing an awareness of centre, weight, and the relationship between themselves and the surrounding space.

Drawing from a diverse range of practices including contemporary dance, floor work, classical ballet, jazz, street dance, African dance, and sword dance—Ena creates an environment that encourages openness, playfulness, and discovery. By sharing energy and cultivating a positive collective atmosphere, participants are invited to explore new possibilities within their own movement practice.

The class welcomes dancers and performers from all movement backgrounds and experience levels.
